6th January: The Epiphany
Epiphany commemorates the visit of the Magi, symbolizing Christ revealed to the nations. It celebrates Jesus as the light for all people, not only Israel. The day calls the Church to mission and witness, proclaiming that God’s salvation extends to every nation. In some traditions, it also remembers Jesus’ baptism and first miracle at Cana.
